Excellent Stay on Holy Island

great view dog-friendly staff pleasant waiter
The room had a great view of the castle, priory, and sea. The staff were dog-friendly, a real plus for us. Breakfast service was very good and the waiter was pleasant. The scrambled egg stood out as well.
The wine list seemed limited. There were only three nondescript reds to choose from. The one we selected was disappointing.
Rooms
9/10
The room décor included tasteful plaids. The bathroom provided both a bath and separate shower. We found the room spacious with good light, though the window view made the room special.
Location
10/10
The hotel sits adjacent to the priory. It is also very close to St Mary's original ruins! the eating area offers great views. The hotel allowed easy walking access to the beach and other attractions.
Service

The staff provided a warm welcome and seemed accommodating. Staff addressed my allergy concerns well. The treatment was appreciated. I found everyone friendly and very attentive to our needs.
Facilities

There is a spacious pub and breakfast room. A beer garden overlooks the water and castle! the toilets were clean. The outside eating area is perfect.
